No. CarPacta primarily creates an evidence case for a specific sale. External VIN and open data are only supplementary context with a clearly identified source.
Does CarPacta guarantee there will be no dispute?+
No. It does not remove statutory buyer rights or guarantee an outcome. It helps both parties record the facts clearly in advance.
Does the buyer pay?+
No. The seller prepares the case, while an invited buyer can review the version shared with them and provide confirmations.
Does it work on a phone?+
Yes. Photo, video-with-sound and handover capture are designed for phones. Sound remains part of the original recording and is not automatically diagnosed.
What happens to original files?+
Checksums are calculated for originals, and the final package contains their index and verification information.
